Christopher Nolan’s first two films in his Batman trilogy bring the Dark Knight movie storyline back into the sensible. No more “how do you have a budget of $100+ million and put out such boring and garish tripe?” No Bat-nipples. No Ahnold. No Jack Nicholson’s Joker (don’t care what one might say, Heath Ledger is insanely random – that’s the ultimate iteration of the character – see Arkham Asylum for a deep draught of the madness). We’re looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises not just because it’s sure to be great story-telling but because we can’t wait to see what Tom Hardy will do next. Huzzah!
Christopher Nolan, enter stage right…
